Time Is Precious. So Is the Detail.

Atelier Honoré was born from a simple frustration shared between two long-time friends and devoted watch collectors: the clasp, the one component your eye lands on every time you fasten your watch, remained entirely generic. Personalisation had transformed every other corner of the watch world. Custom straps, bespoke dials, engraved casebacks. Yet the buckle, the closing gesture of a timepiece worn every single day, stayed stubbornly off-limits. Every collector, regardless of their watch, ended up with the same stamped hardware their manufacturer had chosen for them.

We decided that wasn't good enough.

The Gap We Set Out to Fill

In 2020, we began working on what would become the world's first fully customisable deployant clasp. Two years of development later, Atelier Honoré launched in 2022 with a product built on a single conviction: that a truly personal timepiece deserves to be personal all the way to the clasp.

Each clasp is individually crafted to order in stainless steel or gold-plated finish, with your initials, a personal motif, or a design entirely your own rendered on the surface. No two are alike. That's the point.

In December 2024, The New York Times featured Atelier Honoré as part of a broader story on the growing movement toward personalised watch hardware, a reflection of what collectors around the world have already discovered: that the clasp is the final frontier of watch customisation.

We have also collaborated with Maison Jean Rousseau, one of the world's most respected makers of bespoke watch straps, bringing our clasps to their ateliers in Tokyo and beyond, offering collectors the ability to personalise both strap and clasp in a single, seamless experience.

What We Believe

We are not a watch brand. We don't make movements or cases. What we make is the finishing touch, the part that turns a fine watch into your watch.

Every product we make is crafted to order, takes up to four weeks to produce, and is built to last a lifetime on the wrist. We ship worldwide with FedEx tracking, and we stand behind everything we make.
